A few days ago, I came down with the flu. It was nothing out of the ordinary\u2014fever, chills, the usual symptoms. But what caught me off guard wasn\u2019t the physical discomfort. It was the emotional pain. When Mom gets sick<\/em>, the whole rhythm of the house changes. I had to sleep separately from my daughter, couldn\u2019t cuddle her, and felt like I was failing her\u2014just by resting.<\/p>
